I often hear nice comments from my clients who tell me how much they appreciate my intense, caring efforts in making their real estate transactions successful.
When I think about it, maybe it’s because I started my professional life as a nurse, which is all about caring for others and looking after their needs. That might partially explain why I feel so strongly about making sure that my clients get the very best attention and professional help possible.
At the heart of it, real estate is a people business. The houses, condos, buildings, and parcels are the specifics, but ultimately the business is really about helping others with what is generally for most people one of the most important transactions they will ever make. Whether they are buyers or sellers, they want the right price. They want the transaction to go smoothly, without negative surprises, without unexpected hiccups. They want to feel good when it is all said and done. They want to feel they got a good deal or at least a fair deal.
That’s my job. And I love it.
But yes, there is more. There is also the magic of the Florida Keys itself. This little slice of paradise that I call home is special in so many ways. Sharing it with others is a privilege. I am active in our community supporting numerous causes. I am a member of the Key Largo and the Islamorada Chambers of Commerce. My network of friends is extensive. Together with my husband Jay, who is a well-respected attorney, I know the community inside and out. I am proud of the backing of Engel & Völkers Islamorada, the most respected real estate firm in the Florida Keys.
All together this knowledge base is extraordinarily valuable. I enjoy sharing it as part of my efforts to help my clients. And speaking of sharing, I hope you will enjoy these images of my family including my wonderful grandchildren.
